MessageHi Ira, You said in your post it was a 1983 model? Please clarify since it is a 52TW. If you would please, email me several photos off-list to dsavarese0812@bellsouth.net. I may be able to help you sell it. Dennis ----- Original Message ----- From: Ira Saligman To: yak-list@matronics.com Sent: Wednesday, January 28, 2009 11:24 AM Subject: Yak-List: 52 TW for Sale After a long slow fall, the market seems to be a bit more active. Jeff and I have not yet sold our 52TW. Our goal is to sell it in time to get ready for the flying season. Please contact me if you have any interest or know of anyone. We aren't giving the plane away but someone can get a great deal. The plane is super clean, we've worked out all the "TW Bugs" and replaced anything questionable over the last 2 annuals. The avionics really increase the value, but we can sell the plane without them if the buyer has their own. Specifically, Garmin 430 with terrain, Garmin SL-40, Garmin 327 xponder, Garmin 340 audio panel GT 106 needles JPI Fuel flow 450. The exact value of these depends but they would sell for $7,500 to $10,000, on barnstormers) We can sell the lane bare or with a KY 196 radio and King76A transponder. The other benefit to the plane is that we have moved the battery forward which makes a huge difference ( and carries a cost of $2,500 to $5,000 depending upon how it is done) The plane is 1983, just under 200 hours, 400 HP M14-PF-XSDK (dress kit and western prop flange) 3 blade MTV -9-B-C prop (the service bulletin does NOT apply to our sn) The annual will be done in February which can also serve as a pre-purchase inspection. We are asking $129,000 but there is some room in the price, more room if I keep some of the avionics and sell the plane no avionics or with my spare KY 196 radio and king 76A transponder.
