Thanks to everyone who emailed me, your advice was very helpful. From: "mnwaust" Hi Guys, I am trying to to get hold of a voltage regulator for my Nanchang. The one I need is the older type with the electrical connection lugs on the front. If anyone has one in stock could you please email me with a price. Thanks Mark Norman West Australia Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=236938#236938 ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 05:20:59 PM PST US Subject: Re: Yak-List: Has anyone got a Nanchang voltage regulator? From: doug sapp Mark, I have emailed my vendors in China as I find I am out of stock. As of today they say 1 week to locate one, if found they can ship via Fed Ex direct to you. I do have the solid state regulators in stock, but do not have any knowledge as to what it takes to convert from the magnetic style to the later solid state regulator. These units seem to hold up well and would suit your needs I think. How ever they are air driven. Most are vacuum, a few are vacuum OR pressure. The options to drive it are few, venturi, electric stand by vac pump, or perhaps scavange some air pressure off the aircraft pneumatic system. Either of these will work. I chose to go with a 28 volt Airborne stand by pump. Unfortunatly I sold that aircraft before I ever installed so I cannot tell you "the rest of the story". Both units now sit on my shelf, $1500.00 takes them both. The Airborne pump is factory new, the AI is used. Doug On Sat, Mar 28, 2009 at 5:56 AM, marklevy wrote: > > Thanks for the feedback guys.
