However between the power bus and the breaker there is a 30 amp fuse that feeds the Baklan 5, intercom, gear/flap/lamp test lights, PAG1 inverter & the G meter ... if this has blown then I'm sure you would have noticed! In any case if it has then you would to seek professional advice to fault find further. brgds, Rob R Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=243514#243514 ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 07:52:29 AM PST US From: "Bill VonDane / Whiskey Victor" Subject: Re: Yak-List: Xpnder Recomendations I just fabricated a new radio stack mount for under the center of the panel yesterday... Nasty because the airplane is painted in US polyurethane. Haven't opened it up yet, but assume its stitched in the usual commie through-the-holes-in-the-rib fashion I know folks who have stitched Yak/CJ controls in the usual around-the-rib AC43-13 method and seems to work fine. Likewise pop rivets. My experience with DOSAAF/PLA stitching is they didn't tie at each loop so when it one stitch breaks they all go. So I just do the commie method but tie at every stitch, which may be what the DOSAAF/PLA 43-13 equivalent sez to do but they neglect in the field? Reinforcing tape? Anybody have a source for linen or grade A? Nitrate or butyrate with a decent solids count? The Stits equivalent runs like water. I am starting to recover ours using Stits material and would like to Use standard ribstitching.(through the wing and around the ribs rather Than sewing to the cloth wrapping on the ribs), Comments please Joe ________________________________ Message 5 _____________________________________ Time: 08:06:06 AM PST US Subject: Yak-List: Re: Xpnder Recomendations From: "LawnDart" Here is another interesting alternative... http://www.trig-avionics.com/tt21.html Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=243539#243539 ________________________________ Message 6 _____________________________________ Time: 11:36:33 AM PST US From: "Roger Kemp M.D." Subject: RE: Yak-List: Xpnder Recomendations Jill Hayes has them the last time we needed them. I plan to use the through the wing around the ribs standard method.
