All,
Sanity Check needed. Yak-52 battery switch terminals (on the back, not switch
position):
Top- external
Mid - Off/ground?
Bot- battery
Is this correct?

Scott,
Looking at the back of the battery switch, the top section where the
buss bar is located, is the BATTERY side when you have the battery
switch in the UP position on the front. Put your volt meter on the buss
bar, flip the battery switch to the UP position and you should read the
battery voltage.

I mounted my 295 initially (now changed to 396) to the ventilation tube
between my legs. I used a RAM-B-108 base with strap clamp (P/N 11-02003) to
attach the ball base to the side of the tube. I then used the RAM-B-138-GAZ
(P/N 11-01766) to mount the ball clamp parallel to the tube with Garmin
sitting in front of the flat plate on the vent tube. I bought the mounts
from Aircraft Spruce.
Hope this helps.
