Three years ago I persuaded a mirror factory to run their line one more time for several cases of their discontinued mirror which I purchased. After that I think I found more cases through liquidators, etc. Now I'm at the bottom of the box for the cheap mirrors. I'm leaving home this week for Light Sport Mechanics school up in Virginia and I'll take what I have left in the Yak/CJ mirrors with me since I'll be headed to OSH immediately after graduation as well as a few other of my best selling items. The RV-8 guys have been depleting my Yak/CJ mirror supply at rapid rate. They's lots of them fellers flying together real close and they like my mirrors. No worries though, I have a new design for another mirror. Only problem is that I can't do it as cheap. Those of you that are engineers may understand that there are government standards and then there is cheap but good. " Cheap but Good" design takes a lot more thought and intuition than "government work". I'm doing my best.
