Didier, the 2 12v YUASA batteries fit perfectly in the original battery box. I have had them on both my 18Ts and never had any problem. Weather permitting why don't you and Dominique come over on Sunday. A three ship fly over the D-Day landing beaches in Normandy would look (and sound) nice. Craig, Check with Doug or Jill at M14P, Inc since the emergency air bottle on the CJ and 52 are the same. Yes, the tests mentioned definitely apply to the CJ. In the CJ, either one or both of the emergency air valves could be leaking. Both are easy to get to on the CJ. So if you don't find the leak at the bottle, check both valves. One other thing you may want to check is the flare inside the B-nut on the emergency air bottle. If the flare was cracked during re-installation, it will not seal up. But a leak caused by a cracked flare should easily show up by spraying the soapy water on the tubing going into the B nut. Leaking down in two days is a pretty bad leak. The soapy water tests mentioned should identify it.....hopefully. A very common problem particularly if the tank was recently removed from the airplane and the fittings removed from the tank for inspection or servicing. The next place to look is the emergency air valve. Remove the output line from the emergency air valve with the valve completely closed. Spray soapy water on the output fitting on the valve. If it bubbles, the valve is leaking internally." Where does one get the o-ring for the fitting on the emergency air bottle? My system leaks all emergency air pressure out in two days. Will do the other tests, but the bottle was removed and reinstalled once or twice in the recent past. ALso verify this info would be for a CJ not a Yak. One last thing to check Craig is spray soapy water on the external air fill port opening and see if it bubbles. If it does, you have a bad check valve which keeps the emergency system from leaking air back out the external air fill port. This is also not uncommon. Dennis ----- Original Message ----- From: A. Got the prop balanced today at Kregg Victory's place. Well worth the travel. What a difference, really noticeable during throttle advancement for takeoff. Great job Kregg! Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=268299#268299
