Be careful if you are going to take fittings off tank the flapper valve will
flop over if you just screw it out, I made a little device to hold it in
place when I had the same problem as you.
I can send you a pic.

A C-130 is a "Target"?
Tell that to the crews flying the AC-130 gunship.
Doc, to the guys who are concerned only with the rush of flying, the F-16 is a
clear winner. To the folks flying aircraft that remember that their main role
in life is to support the guys on the ground, .... There is a completely different
outlook.
Sorry, this is WAY off topic, but I just could not let it go. :-)

The jet jockey decided to show off.
The fighter jock told the C-130 pilot, 'watch this!' and promptly went into a barrel
roll followed by a steep climb. He then finished with a sonic boom as he
broke the sound barrier. The F-16 pilot asked the C-130 pilot what he thought
of that?
The C-130 pilot said, 'That was impressive, but watch this!'
The C-130 droned along for about 5 minutes and then the C-130 pilot came back on
and said: 'What did you think of that?'
Puzzled, the F-16 pilot asked, 'What the heck did you do?'
The C-130 pilot chuckled. 'I stood up, stretched my legs, walked to the back, went
to the bathroom, then got a cup of coffee and a cinnamon bun.'

Also, it has been suggested to cut in a fuel shutoff valve, that can be safety
wired open, in each fuel feed line. This would remove the need to pump fuel
out of the plane next time the header needs service. What valve have others put
in for this purpose.
Thanks for the advice,

I have and they still are. When all you can do is turn left to shoot...U R a
target and U.R predictable. My guys just came back from the sandbox. That is
all they did was support the guys on the ground 500 lb JDAMS. And 20 mm.
