Gang,
Just wanted make everyone aware of a few things:
-We are expanding our brokerage services to all types of aircraft. We
have added a Stearman and a BT-15 to our inventory. We will pay a
finders fee to any referral that generates a sale.
-We also are now authorized dealers for Dynon and Advanced Flight
Systems. RPA members purchasing units through us will receive a 5%
discount on the hardware and 10% discount on installation. To
compliment this we now have CJ custom panel cutting capability in
house (pics available on request).
-Between now and Christmas we are also offering 10% off any of our
modifications and upgrades (fuel tanks, pedal extensions, custom
instrument panels, schrader adapters, placard kits, M14B modification
kits, one piece rear canopies, etc.).
For more information please contact us directly via email or phone
(909) 606-4444.
We are grateful for our customers and the great community of Yaks and
CJs!
Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Flying everyone!

Can you imagine how much lead shot you are going to have to put in your tai

Modified V6 / V8s might be interesting to look into.- There have been a n
umber of reductions units, that look good and simple.- Most complicated p
art is it seem to me, to be putting in 2 spark plugs per cylinder and mags
IF you want to stay "traditional".

None of us know what the future holds for our planes or engines.- There a
re a considerable number in the US and worldwide so it would make sense at
some point that a company step up to make parts for the engines to be overh
auled.- Many M-14 parts can be used on the Housai.- I'd just jump in, g
et a plane and have fun.- The community is great and the planes are fun.
As for engines...I have also thought about other radials and the options wo
uld mostly be Jacobs because there are engines available.- The R755A2 is
rated 300 Hp, the R915 is rated 330 Hp and the R830 is rated 285.- Howeve
r, all these engines do turn the wrong way :-)- I have no idea if the dim
ensions of any of these would work.

Jon,
The back is removed by removing the two pens that ride on the back
bulkhead. Next - the pens in front on the bottom of the legs, are slid to one
side. Because of the length of the pens, you will not be able to totally
remove them, but they will slide far enough out of the way, so the front legs
will be released.
It might help if you dropped a little "mouse milk" or other really good
oil penetrate on them. They can be hard to slide. Remember they can not
come all the way out. Only be slid as far as the cockpit side panel.
