To further expound upon Pappy's post. =C2-The pins are pulled out by =C2
-
putting a screw driver in the 3 tracks and working the font pins out. =C2
-
The holes in the floor are a major source of air (and, thus, CO) into =C2
-
the cockpit. =C2-It is advisable to close these up. =C2-Alu tape is the
=C2-
easiest way to do it, but there are obviously other methods.
Just thinking about this as I write.... we redo all the stick boots on =C2
-
our aircraft and this does help (but not totally eliminate) draft =C2-
coming up around the shaft of the stick. If anyone is interested in =C2-
those, I can send pics. =C2-They can be made out of canvas or leather.
Louvering panels on the belly is probably the best way we've found to =C2
-
keep the CO out of the cockpit. =C2-Craig Payne did an article in Red =C2
-
Alert about this awhile back.
Time for my tryptophan nap.....
Happy Flying

Subject: | flight suit swap |
I have a brand spankin' new ( circa 1990) sage green flight suit that is still
in the unopened bag. It's a 40L. I'd like to swap it for a desert tan suit that
is also the same size in new condition.
