I know what it sounds like and that is probably it. But, will await the British investigators. Uh, have you ever been to a bar with Pappy? That's been the case as long as I've known him! Pappy gave me my first formation instructional hop and also my wing check ride. Pappy gave me my flight lead familiarization hop at Oshkosh. Pappy flew all the way across the country to solely help us out at All Red Star for 5 years in a row and never asked for anyting. Pappy gave me advice when I got married to my now ex wife that gave Pappy his call sign...well, you can't win 'em all! ;) Congrats Pappy. You have made a difference in the lives of more people than I'm sure you even know about, and I'm grateful for the difference you've made in mine. Merry Christmas! At least that would be my guess. Seems if you had the ability to push the stick forward then an outside loop might free it up. Again purely speculation and No I do not want to be a guinea pig for that. Next question, why not step over the sides if all else is turning to feces. That is probably where the inverted push would come in handy. The acci dent happened in Bisho, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Bob is one of the chara cters of local aviation, a very experienced aerobatic pilot and instructor. One of the knobs on the gill control levers went walkabout several months b ack, and was replacd by the owner. Despite a search of the aircraft the mis sing one was not found - until now. We're all pleased that the outcome was not a fatal accident - it was very c lose. It's been a very bad week for aviation here - airline over-run, a lig ht aircraft over-run, and an Extra down on Sunday with two fatalities.
