I have not yet replied to the letter. It may be that my Yak-52 is still registered in Reno. Since it has not flown since brining it home, I have not completed the transfer. But once again, I hope to have it flying by summer. I re-read the letter and indeed it is addressed to specific individuals. I was aware that this mandate was an internal Western Region action, but that they are sending letters out is the first tangible step. This confirms to me that they realize they don't have the manpower to implement their original plan, and that was to physically inspect (again) every plane. Yes, this letter presents an administrative annoyance, but we should all have these docs. Be SURE that you understand your Ops Limits and what is required....this review does present the opportunity for the proverbial can of worms.
