I think the "thingy" connected to the "piston" broke during an 8 G landing.
But that's just me.

Thank you all for your suggestions!!!
I will try to briefly reply to everyone:
I apologize for not knowing the proper term for the part that Im seeking (I still
dont)
The plane is a Yak-55 (build for 9 Gs), and while doing Vertical rolls I normally
do the initial pull at 7 or 7.5 Gs. In this Particular time I heard a metallic
ping, discontinued flight and after taking the cowlings off I saw the Gill
Bar broke at the base.
I was also wondering if there was something that looks sturdier (like some 52-TWs)
as
Doug suggested.
Ill have to go next weekend and measure them and I may need a couple.
The nice looking seal on the outer ring came with the plane sorry

Hello gang!
Hey any advice on how to repair this gill attachment bar?
Or how to replaces them... I'm talking about the thingy that holds the bar
in place and that connects to the engine pistons. please see the attached p
icture.
It broke during a 8 G vertical pull.
