If your magneto cap drops on without needing to be pushed down to compress the spring it can cause the clicking sound in your radio as it is not making good contact. Stretch spring and clean any corrosion. This information can also be found on the Skyranch tips web site as a possible cause for radio interference from mags. Hi Pete; What is the serial number of your CJ? Of the four I imported from China in 1994 two were from batch 15 (dated Dec 65 and Jan 66), one from batch 24 (dated 1968) and one from batch 25 (dated 1969). Only the 1969 model was spot welded. All four were produced by factory #320 The first two digits of the serial no.is the batch number which will give an indication of when it was manufactured. Hey Doug, I'm sure you could shed some light on this subject. When did spot welding of CJ fuselage skins start and end? Finally got my annual done and someone talked me into a nose wheel conversion. Ordered (and paid right away through PayPal) Gary Bunn's nose wheel kit about 3 weeks ago, but no luck getting in touch with the Great Bunndini and no nose wheel so far either, hopefully he didn't take off with my money and having a good time on my expenses :-) If you and Pete wants to do some formation this year, please give me a shout and we could have some fun. cheers Elmar ________________________________ Message 10 ____________________________________ Time: 07:52:52 PM PST US Subject: Yak-List: Test: Waiting for The Great Bunndini's nose wheel conversion From: elmar.h@shaw.ca Hi Brian, everything is fine, how are you guys doing?
