UPDATE:
The issue with my camera was related to my MAC computer. If the deleted files from
the camera card are not also removed from the trash bin the card will still
show full.
I used a 10 dollar swivel shoe adapter and epoxied a 4mm SS screw to one end, removed
a screw from my wing tip, and screwed in the camera mount. I did not have
the guts to trust the suction cup mount set up.
It's an inexpensive camera that can be used for plenty of other activities.
