Subject: | CJ6 Ariel Connector |
Morning Guys
Does anyone have a connector that will screw into the base of a Nanchang ariel
and allow me to fit a coax cable into it (soldering would be ideal).
I have looked at UHF connectors in local electrical stores but the thread is way
off (much to fine).
Please email me if you have something that will work. I can send you a picture
if need be of my base unit.
Best regards
Martin

Dear YAK-52 operators,
I can supply you both Russian made and Chinese made spark plugs for your engine.
Due mainly to price reasons, the Chinese spark plugs are very required and I am
also supplying them to Ukraine and Russia.
Anytime at your disposition,

Subject: | Re: CJ6 Ariel Connector |
Martin,
The basic problem is that the thread pitch for the Chinese equivalent of an American
SO-239 is different and for this reason an American PL-239 won't work. The
trick here requires that you use a Chinese sleeve with an American connector/reducer
combination that has had the tread run through the appropriate die.
This will convert an American PL-259 into something that will screw into the base
of the Chinese antenna quite nicely. The other modification is that the center
conductor of the original Chinese plug is slightly larger and this part if
the American connector has to be built up.
Contact me off-line and we'll get this working for you. While you're at it, you'll
want to replace whatever coax you're using with a nice 18 to 20' run of RG-142B/U.
If it would be easier, you can send me that parts and I'll assemble it
for you.

Subject: | New Whrilwind Spinner |
The spinner is 20in dia and is carbon/glass construction and ready to install with
all hardware included. Price is $1,600. The spinner is the same as the one
in the picture but it will fit the V530 propeller.
