I have looked at UHF connectors in local electrical stores but the thread is way off (much to fine). Please email me if you have something that will work. I can send you a picture if need be of my base unit. The trick here requires that you use a Chinese sleeve with an American connector/reducer combination that has had the tread run through the appropriate die. This will convert an American PL-259 into something that will screw into the base of the Chinese antenna quite nicely. The other modification is that the center conductor of the original Chinese plug is slightly larger and this part if the American connector has to be built up. Contact me off-line and we'll get this working for you. While you're at it, you'll want to replace whatever coax you're using with a nice 18 to 20' run of RG-142B/U. If it would be easier, you can send me that parts and I'll assemble it for you.
