The right main gear on my Yak 18T won't retract. Actually, I've gotten it to retract a couple of times, but I can't count on it. Help. Flightbag Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=312235#312235

I had that problem on my CJ . I had changed the air hoses and a piece of lint got loose and plugged the restrictor in the air line . You may have a foreign object in the line . Get a cigarette lighter installation kit fro Radio Shack. Set it up for the appropriate voltage according to what is required by the GPS. You ca n install several plug in outlets while you are at it; they need not all be installed on the instrument panel. Side panel installation works wel l also. Be sure to install a protective circuit breaker for each lighter outlet. I need a replacement buckle for a Yak 52. If anyone has a seat belt/shoulder harness for sale (maybe someone who has replaced theirs with Hookers) or even just the latching mechanism, please contact me. Tom Smith thomas_csmith@yahoo.com

Hi Tom, I think I have a couple of sets of the original belt/harness's around somewhere in the hangar. I'll be at the airport sometime this week, and I'll do my best to remember to look for them. Roger Baker PS I have a great memory, it's just real short. __________________________________________________________________________ On Sep 12, 2010, at 9:08 PM, Thomas Smith wrote: > > I need a replacement buckle for a Yak 52. G'day, The Yak 18T has inertia reel type harnesses in the front. The shoulder straps are a pain to adjust. Have any of you 18T drivers changed the front harnesses and if so what type and where from? Are you retaining the inertia setup? (May be one for you Richard) Thanks and cheers, Chris.
