Good to see not much has changed.

Through all the ridiculous chaff, I did not see anyone mention how calmly this
individual dealt with this potentially life ending incident. People have died
for lesser issues. 

I would like to commend the individual for his cool headed reaction AND action
during this unfortunate event. He appears to have done an outstanding job from
beginning to end and that is the true lesson here. 

90% of surviving most life threatening events is to keep your wits and to rely
on good training. Luck is the other 10%.
