Gang,
Thought you might find this interesting...I sure did. ;)

Hi Barry,
Just dropping a line with a PIREP on your ignition wire set. I installed them while
we were grounded for air races and since that time I've flown the aircraft
on 2 cross country flights, lot's of local and on a 5 hour search mission in
the mountains.
The engine used to be a hard start when cold, now starts on 3 -4 blades and very
little air. The engine is running smoother and I've noticed that on cross country
flying I'm able to lean more than before.
I use fuel flow to set up cruise and I can lean back another gallon /hour without
getting the cylinders hot. Performing mag checks in flight there is no noticeable
difference as one mag is switched off/on.
I wouldn't have expected this much difference as my engine was running pretty smooth
before, but needless to say ...I'm a happy camper.
Thanks,

Thanks, Walt! And if you prime it just right and put it on the compression stroke,
it goes even better...

Thank you to the dozen or so who volunteered to ferry my CJ. I almost went with
a Nigerian who promised to pay ME one million United States Dollars for the
privilege of flying it. But, in the end Scott Andrews was able to resolve a mess
of FAA red tape and deliver it to California ahead of the rain.
