Product Announcement
MotorstarNA is proud to announce that we now offer TOP overhauled cylinder
kit for the M14P engine. The cylinders are all first oversize. The first
oversize or R-1 size cylinders are .15 mm oversize. The original nitride
layer is typically .35 mm thick. This means the R-1 oversize only removes
.075 mm of the nitride layer.
The kits will utilize the newly announced SPC pistons and rings. The kit
includes al parts to accomplish a complete top overhaul. Each kit will
contain the following:
9 - P/N 14-004-120-R1 Cylinders assemblies with valves and springs installed
9 - P/N 14-605-103SPC-R1 Pistons with fitted Rings installed
9 - P/N 14-605-121SPC Piston Plugs
9 - Sets of gaskets, lock tabs, push rod tube rubbers etc.
The Kit price is $15,690.00 outright. This includes a $250.00 core charge
per cylinder. We will refund up to $250.00 per cylinder that are returned
and found to be repairable.
The kit are also available as "ready to install" and include
overhauled rockers, rocker shafts with bearing, all associated rocker
hardware installed and wrist pins. The additional cost is $6,300 and the
core credit increases to $300 per serviceable cylinder assembly.
The attached is a listing of the parts included in the Kit.
MotorstarNA plans to stock the kits in the U.S. for a quick turnaround.

Hey Everyone,
March 3rd thru the 6th will be the third Annual "Informal Formation
Flying Clinic" held outside of Phoenix Az at Historic Falcon Field (KFFZ).
Last year's event attracted 42 aircraft despite horrible weather!
This event is for Formation Flying, Training as well as Tactical
Formation. It's a nominal cost (between 50.00 to 75.00 depending on attendance)
along with oil and fuel discounts!
The Informal Formation Flying Clinic is open to everyone, last year we
had T-6's, T-34's, CJ's and Yaks. Anyone can register for the event on the
RPA web site at no cost under events ( you don't have to be a member of
the RPA to do this but it is strongly recommended that you become a member
since you must be a member of one of the F.A.S.T. signatory's in order to
receive a wingman card.)
Discounted Lodging is close by and provides transportation to and from
the airport. If you have any additional questions I can be contacted off
list.
