Not sure if it was the M 14 list or the Yak list where someone recently was looking for a pressure carb. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330495868786&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT -------- Milt Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=319461#319461

Bill, I would recommend getting the "frog" from WLAC ( http://www.wlacrussianeng.co.uk/main.asp?ID=4&Product=768 ), then getting a scuba tank fitting that has the high pressure side only with a bleed-off thumb screw on it. You need the bleed screw to release the pressure from the hose when you're done filling. If you don't have that, the thing will be ballistic when you release the bayonet from the airplane. You can have the hose that goes between them made to a convenient length at any hydraulic hose shop, and they will also have any of the adapting bits you need to make it go together. If you want to get fancy, you can put a gage on there as well). I know some planes have the schraeder valves installed as well. If that's what you have (and it was retro-fitted), you may not be able to use the original Russian fitting. However, you can probably get a tank- valve style fitting from NAPA that will do the trick, and then you adapt it to the scuba side accordingly. Jill Gernetzke at M-14P, Inc. (928) 681-4400 or George Coy at Border Air (802) 868-5633 might have an assembly all ready to rock.
