For some of the studs on the bottom cylinders you will have to remove the oil sump. Use locktabs to secure the nuts and torque-seal to be sure nothing moves. The nuts are 14mm=9/16" so you can use an ordinary cylinder base wrench (after a bit of grinding around the perimeter so it will fit in the tight space). Doug has the locktabs and sump gaskets. -------- Mike Bell Elk Grove, CA avbell2(at)comcastdotnet Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=324516#324516 ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 09:33:08 PM PST US Subject: Yak-List: CJ6 gear doors From: "Okanogan Lew" Guys, has anyone tried extending the lower gear door on a CJ6, so that it totally covers the gear when closed? If so, please share your results. Thanks in advance.
