From: "N642K" I fly with a bose X and a lightspeed zulu in my CJ and I'm tired of not enough volume. Headset volume and intercom volume all the way up and I have to cup my ears to hear the backseater. Radio volume is not a problem. I've already forgotten which intercom I own but I need something different. What have you got, if you're happy with? Thanks, Mike Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=340004#340004 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 08:36:55 AM PST US From: Thomas Geoghegan Subject: RE: Yak-List: How powerful is your intercom? From: "Mike Bell" Mine had weak audio till I discovered someone had put the plastic isolation washers under the headphone jacks instead of the microphone jacks. I have had good luck with PS Engineering and Sigtronics. If you have a Sigtronics their customer service is very helpful, and they will send you a free loaner unit to see if that's the problem vs. a wiring issue. -------- Mike Bell Elk Grove, CA avbell2(at)comcastdotnet Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=340024#340024 ________________________________ Message 5 _____________________________________ Time: 11:18:00 AM PST US From: "Jim Griffin" Subject: Re: Yak-List: How powerful is your intercom? I have the PS engineering PM 1200 2 place High noise intercom and it works great in my CJ. The voice activated feature works very well also. It even works in my T-6.
