As I brought the throttle back through 550MP, the engine began to vibrate violently. I powered back up and all was fine... Down again and the vibration returned. It ran rough on the entire approach. It was 8 degrees C so my friend suggested carb ice. I'll be doing a run up tomorrow to see if the problem remains. Does anything else come to the minds of the collective list? Thanks Phil N ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 05:36:04 PM PST US From: "Tom Elliott" Subject: RE: Yak-List: Engine Vibration Check to see that you did not unlock the primer with you elbow. If it is open when you pull the throttle and vacuum builds up it will suck fuel and run very very rich and rough. If you have an intake drain kit installed (lower 3) check for cracking around the drain boss welds. Do what has been suggested first and let the Zebras sleep for now.
