    Subject: Electric boost pump CJ6
    From: "Okanogan Lew" <vplewis@community.org>
Guys, I have installed an electric fuel boost pump to replace the wobble pump in my CJ6. It is a 3-5 psi, 32 gpm flow thru pump that will allow fuel to pass even if it is not running. I removed the wobble pump & the lines to the check valve & mounted the pump inside the belly with lines to the check valve the same as the wobble pump lines. I have fuel flowing on the pressure side of the pump, but there is no fuel flowing into the fuel pump on the engine. I think the pump is just forcing the fuel thru the small by pass lines on the check valve & back into the pump. I am planning to plug the small by pass lines, so that the fuel will be pumped up to the engine. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks. Make sure you have in / out lines hooked up properly. Pappy In a message dated 10/23/2011 11:30:01 P.M.
