If it is a vane type pump you must ensure that the relief & by-pass
assembly is correctly mounted in relation to the direction of rotation.
Unless the ENGINE driven pump is an internal by-pass type the new
auxiliary pump will NOT deliver fuel through a static engine pump.
It SHOULD be a py-pass type pump since the emergency fuel from the
wobble pump is delivered in series. If non bypass it would have to be a
parallel system.
The by-pass around the check valve is necessary I would not recommend
plugging it.

Walt, I disconnected the fuel hose to the engine pump & there is no fuel
reaching that point when I turn on the boost pump. The fuel line from the
boost pump to the engine side of the check valve is pumping fuel, but how
can it pump up to the engine with the by pass line installed. What is the
purpose of the by pass line even with the standard wobble pump?
