Subject: | Fwd: CJ-6 wanted |
Guys,
As some of you may know, I own one of the three new CJ-6s that came into No
rth America about 10 years ago. Victoria Air Mx Service did a great job bui
lding up a "Judges' Choice" airplane for me with full IFR avionics and the
400 hp Housai. Unfortunately, my engine's master rod broke while on the gro
und a few months ago. A few minutes later on takeoff and it might have been
a more tragic story. While trucking the plane over to my facility at Inter
national Jets a couple weeks ago the trucker jumped a curb and tried to mow
down a telphone pole with my airplane. The airplane lost.
I am in the search mode for another airplane. I specifically wish to stay w
ith a CJ-6. However, I don't want another project. I have my own award winn
ing paint facility so exterior paint is not critical. However, I don't want
to have to strip out the interior and start from scratch. Solid systems ar
e the first priority. A refinished interior would be the second. Extended r
ange fuel tanks would be preferable. I should have the ability to salvage m
y panels and avionics and many other components as necessary. An M-14P woul
d be preferable but I do already own one with shutters and prop blades.
If anyone has an aircraft they'd like to sell then please contact me direct
ly at Hess737@aol.com or my cell phone below. Again, I would like to build
up another show winning aircraft without a 6-12 month process so the airpla
ne must have solid systems and a nice interior.
Look forward to your responses. Feel free to send specs and CURRENT photos.
Thank you in advance.
