FYI, I have a New old stock M-14p series 2 1985 for sale. Just like it came from the factory" Perfect". $39,500. Also have a V-530 with Russian overhauled hub and low time Russian blades $2,500.00 or both for $41,000.00. 970-231-2378. Gang, I want to thank everyone who offered help rebuilding my Mongoose or offered their aircraft for sale to replace it. I ended up buying a very nice Nanch ang from a couple of gentlemen I had trained a number of years ago. Their N anchang is very nice and has many features like mine, and was only 50 miles away. Too convenient to pass up. :-) In the meantime, I have made the decision to rebuild Mongoose. It only has 747 hours on it since new. It would truly be a waste to discard it. Doug Sa pp has been extremely helpful and has most of what I need. However, he does not have a new or undamaged horizontal stabilizer. I also would like to fi nd an undamaged rear fuselage to graft onto Mongoose. The minimum need is t he last three or four feet where the skins overlap just forward of the tail surfaces. I am sure these parts are available somewhere or salvagable from a wreck. Again, I thank everyone for their help. If these two items can be found I w ould be most interested in talking to the owner. I have a fresh M-14P to mo unt. All I need is the rebuilt tail to put Mongoose back in the air. Happy New Year to all and thank you in advance for everyone's support. Cheers Richard Hess C 404-964-4885

On Friday the 23rd of December I have received my empennage cover for my CJ. It looks very good, excellent craftsmanship and it covers the entire tail up to the rear canopy. If someone is interested I could shot some pictures and post them. I can highly recommend Bruce's Aircraft Covers. They have a great customer service and even the owner personally took care of my order. Happy New Year. cheers Elmar

Sounds good, but why would anyone need an empennage cover??? Isn't that what a hanger is for? Keeps off rain, dust and strong sunlight that shines about 360 days a year. What else is there? Craig Payne
