You may recall a month or so back I posted about fitting new bladder tanks and fitting new vent lines etc, etc, etc Nothing fixed the fuel imbalance problem we had had for a while where it would feed significantly from the LH tank After working through each area systematically we tweaked the LH aileron to remove the slightest roll to the left and voila, problem solved. I know some of you will say 'told you so'... The double entendre is often a useful tool when trying to cement an idea in the mind of someone who is hard-headed. Or just good for a laugh. But sometimes, they just happen. The woven wire was much easier to work with, and he was able to purchase a much longer length of the US wire making it much simpler to lead through and install on the trim wheels. I have electric three-axis trim tabs on my current CJ. If I was doing it over I would keep the manual tim for the elevator and use electric for aileron and rudder.
