For those who either purchased Oil Filter Installation Kits from me or have "Marion-type"
filter bases; I now have screw-in pressure switch (1/8" NPTF)and big,
bright 22mm dia red LED warning light that will get your attention when power
is on but oil pressure is absent.
BJ Kennamore installed the first kit on his straight CJ-6. Check out his Facebook
for pics. NOT having something like this cost me $10,000 a decade ago and recently,
$50K to some un-named person I know. In situations like flying wingman
in close formation or starting up on a crowded airshow ramp, lesser beings like
myself lack the god-like situational awareness of many of the Triple-Ace Master
Pilots who occasionally contribute here. This Idiot light was designed for
folks like me.
