Rick,
I have used bio-diesel as well however, the unburnt portion that remains on the
aircraft acts as a great paint stripper.
Diesel will smoke because there is very little O2 in the exhaust. Pump it in at
the Y or near the end of the exhaust and it could flame. My injectors are between
7&8 3&4. The longer the burn time in the exhaust the more smoke you get
on less oil used. A simple ball valve in the cockpit can regulate the flow
rate so practices will produce thinner more affordable smoke, leaving show performances
at full SMOKE ON.

Guys,
Thanks for all the input. I still have not made it out to the hangar to implement
any troubleshooting as of yet. Summer vacation has gotten in the way, but I
will post results when I get them.
