Hate to change the subject, but I believe George Mayer has passed away. No d

Jim,
George crashed on Sunday at Moontown. He was #3 in a three ship doing an
in trail barrel roll over the field. Dished out of the roll, pulled too
hard and stalled. Straight in from there. He had a 17 yr old in the rear
seat, Gordy's future son-in-law.
Gonna miss him.

Guys,
I just got a FB message that George Myers passed away on Sunday. No
details. He was one of our Yak guys, from Moontown and a real joy to be around.
He was at OSH this years and we had a lot of fun together.

As I recall I removed the diode trio and removed the regulator module. (Bot

I didn't mean to change subject, but I was using my IPad and screwed up tryi
ng to get the word out on George.
Actually fascinated over turning a 14v alternator into a 28v one.

Then we need to take that back over to the alternator thread. If you really
are interested then ask me back over on that thread.

Needless to say, this was a tragic event. Two very fine people were lost in this
crash. George was the former owner of Moontown and was a true and loyal friend
to all who knew him. The young man in the back seat was an outstanding high
school student who loved flying.
