Do it. Extra fuel in the plane adds to the time you have to make decent decisions. Question: Would you like have 1 hr of fuel or 30 minutes near the end of a flight where the weather is iffy or the only runway gets closed? Putting in the bladder tanks was the easiest mod I did on my CJ. Took me 40 hours. Jim "Pappy" Goolsby In a message dated 12/17/2012 9:44:28 A.M. Hello Kelley- Removal of old tanks, prep and install of the bladders is MUCH easier by removing wings and flipping them upside down...no big deal. A reinforcing alum doubler on the access panel is required to support the full bladder and can be riveted in with pop rivets. The vent system, which uses the existing belly vent can be made with off the shelf hose (Masthead) and a check valve; two toggle switches and you can control the feed so no more asymmetric fuel issues. Up to a 50% increase in range so to me it's a no brainer and worth the cost. With a helper or two you can do this in a couple of days. Hank Jacksonville, FL

Kelly, It's a good system, I have had them in one CJ and am installing a set now in another. First one had some vent issues, but I think they have that solved now.
