In my opinion you guys are the ultimate civilian formation demo team. When I was
flying the -50 I often daydreamed about putting together a similar team stateside....and

Aside from the potential balance problems which could be severe, the
fact that the rib design is totally unsuitable for riveting makes fabric
the only choice.

I agree. Besides recovering with fabric is actually easier (at least to
me). I see no good point in doing it.

We have covered many control surfaces and fabric is the best option; it
will last 25 years and if damaged, is easily repaired or replaced.
