Help required !!
i`m looking for a manual or a drawing that shows how to remove and refit elevators
to a yak 50 , and how to re-balance the elevator post re-fabric and paint
.
any help or info on where to get this information would me great .

not one. Have not done that so far on my 50 but the tails are the same as the 52.

Doc a few years ago I needed a rudder for my Yak 52 and got one from GESOCO
the fabric was off-both rudders-well long story short-I got-a yak
50 rudder it looked the same had the same dimensions but-was designed - e
ngineered completely different the hing pins were also smaller I couldn't u
se it. My fix was to contact the factory and get the right parts and have a
local mechanic install them. George sold the rudder as a Yak 50 shortly th
ere after. So there is a difference in the rudder. Woody I would suggest co

Folks,
I have finally convinced a friend to buy a Yak-52. He is actively searching now.
There are two Yaks on Barnstormers he is interested in. One is in Seabrook , TX,
and the other in Edgewater, FL.
Do any of you guys have any knowledge about these plane's history and condition?
