Anyone have a pilot report who has taken an M14PF past 1,000 hours?

Yep. Did a top overhaul at 438 hr and at 1,600+ Minor work on the nose sec
tion and 3 cylinder replaced at the last top. Bottom end still tight. Mags
overhauled once. Put on auto plugs and wires. Put electronic ignition on r
ight mag position, (about 40 hours or so - some minor clich=C3=A9s ) but got
11.4 and 11.6 gal/hr (9,500' 2820rpm and full throttle minus 1") on the two
legs from OSH.
I have always had a 10 micron oil filter, plus a pre-oiler. At the last top
I had Barrett put on total seal rings on standard pistons. I flew from Flo
rida to Delaware, to OSH back to Delaware and used 5 qt. oil.
