Phil, Keith might have a point. Did you check the accuracy of your Cyl.-head-temp gauge set-up??? The lead from the thermocouple to the instrument has a fabric insulation what disintegrates over the years. If that happens your readings will be off and inaccurate(ly). As far as I remember, Doug Sapp has those leads in stock and that might be a cheap fix for your problem. Good luck. cheers Elmar

I have a pair of pickledand matching prop blades with 300 hours on them since new. They come in a designated shipping crate and with the appropriate paperwork. If interested, I am asking US$900 for the pair. cheers Elmar

Any advice on how to get the oil cooler drain plug off the oil cooler. I have a 14 inch crescent wrench that won't budge it. Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=406734#406734

Buy a quality, 6-point long metric combination wrench. I think it's same size as the main air tank drain valve, also hard to remove. A worthwhile investment to avoid rounding the nuts. You may regret it when you do for it will leak afterwards if it is anything like the YAK. Finally stopped it with fuel lube.
