    Subject: Help!
    From: Jerry Painter <flywba@gmail.com>
I'm doing a Condition Inspection on a Yak-18T and have run into a couple of problems: no illustrated parts catalog no service manual (yes, I know) I need to replace several of the engine cylinder baffle and intercylinder baffle "leather" cowling pads that rivet to the baffles and am looking for parts. Also, the takeoff trim light is a no workie. All roads (wires) lead to the annunciator light cluster on the panel which appears to contain a bunch o' relays as well as lights, all of which illuminate when press to tested. My electrical smarts being somewhat deficient tgw a really minimal (for me) electrical schematic in the "description" book done left me bereft of a quick, er, proper fix. Short of an inelegant end run, can anyone provide a more lucid description of the system and likely fix (aka magic bullet) or a source of obtainment for said annunciator light cum relay cluster? Likewise said pads, IPC and manual? Jerry Painter Wild Blue Aviation FlyWBA@gmail.com FlyWBA.com 425-876-0865

Hi Jerry,=0AI cannot help with with the 18T. I just want to say that I enjo yed reading your website; a lot of information and great pictures. And the price of a 0-SMOH Housai engine for $12K, and a 400-hp M14-PF for only $20, 000! Your phone must be ringing of the hook!-=0A=0ARobin=0A=0A=0A________ ________________________=0A From: Jerry Painter <flywba@gmail.com>=0ATo: ya k-list@matronics.com =0ASent: Wednesday, October 9, 2013 7:49 AM=0ASubject: Yak-List: Help!=0A =0A=0A=0AI'm doing a Condition Inspection on a Yak-18T and have run into a couple of problems:=0Ano illustrated parts catalog=0Ano service manual=0A(yes, I know)=0AI need to replace several of the engine c ylinder baffle and intercylinder baffle "leather" cowling pads that rivet t o the baffles and am looking for parts.=0AAlso, the takeoff trim light is a no workie.
