The CJ has "backing plate" that the fabric canopy seal is attached to. I see two
screw on the bottom, each side, near the fwd canopy rail, but nothing else that
attaches it to the canopy bow. How does this piece come off? It seems pretty
rigid for a thin piece of aluminum and the seal is attached with a ton of rivets.
I'm stumped.

Hi Keith;
The "backing plate" holds the seal in place. The rivets attach both to the
canopy bow frame that covers the tubing section. The rivets need to be "A"
not "AD".
