Why are you wanting to remove the aft accessory section? If you are working on
the generator and it's drive gears, they are accessed from the top by removing
the generator and the mounting plate. Unless you have sheared a gear in the
case of there is a shaft bearing worn out, I can't see why the case needs to
be removed.
Even with the prop removed, when the accessory case is removed the gears inside
it will move which will turn the small drive gear that runs the air start and
you will need to retime it on install. look closely at the accessory case diagram
and you will see what I am referring to.
I have been inside this case several times due to the generator drive gear shearing
a cog - don't ask....I found it.
