    Subject: Main air valve
This valve has 1/8" npt fittings which are the same as the stock Chinese valve, no adaptor is required. I use a different valve for the emergency air which bleeds emergency system and eliminates sticking shuttle valve issues. I use these valves on the main and also emergency valves - WAY better than the russian valves and never leak. Do yourself a favor and retrofit to Swagelok (or similar) 1/4 turn valve - a very simple retrofit, but a huge improvement.
