The holes check out round and 20mm. The bolt we measured was also round and 19.92mm.
We're thinking as theyre both round that maybe thats how they come from
the factory, Anyone got any bolts around 19.98 ish? What is the clearance required
for a slide fit?
Cheers Steve

Hi all, Steve from NZ.
Does anyone have info on what checks the factory do on Yak55's at the 500hr mark?
Here in NZ I'm required to xray or eddie current check the wing attachments
and bolts. I presently have the elevators and rudder off to rejuvenate the fabric
so wonder if theres any checks done back there or in the engine bay?
Cheers Steve

Hi Steve here again. Anyone know what fabric and how long it lasts on the tail
feathers of a 1992 Yak55m. It wont be cotten built in 1992 will it ?
Still on original paint which I think is dope. Been hangered all her life and outwardly
looks pretty good and passes the maul test at 56 lbs.
Cheers Steve.

I have one off my Yak55m. approx 16-17' spun alloy I think, its a silver finish
Both the spinner and backplate are in very good condition. I've fitted a Whirlwind
composite scimitar prop and composite spinner.

Your comments reminded me of Neil Williams Zlin crash. Just incredible
