Eddie was a great man and a true ambassador for aviation. He would bring his Yak-3
to All Red Star just because he wanted to support the event, even though
we couldn't pay him. I'll always remember the kindness and generosity he showed
to me individually, and to us as a community. Sad stuff....

A few minutes ago, 3 Thunderbirds passed over Angel Island, a low
level/high speed vic, crossed over the headlands and turned south at the Golden
Gate towards Half Moon Bay. A few minutes later 1&2 returned with -3 in
extended trail. I expect it was a tribute for Eddie at KHAF. Quite touching.

I had an aileron recovered with the Stits process and am ready to repaint. It has
been mentioned to use a a flex additive. Any comments on do's and dont's would
be appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.

Subject: | B&C alternator on Yak 52 |
Just new on this forum I'm in the process of installing a 35A B&C to replace the
stock generator. I think I have it pretty well figured out but would like to
get a second opinion if someone has done the conversion on a 52 before. Jill
and Carl at M14P have a partial procedure but it's a work in progress.
Thanks, Dave Williams

Great idea Jon, I'm too far away but I support your idea. Anybody
close to Lancaster should jump on it. Duck
