In Spain it is the same. No noise certificate with national registration at the
annex II.

Subject: | Noise certificate/ level Yak 52 |
The position is simple by definition only a certified aircraft can obtain a noise
certificate, which is a legal document valid throughout the world.
Having said that, there are various organisations that can do a "one-off" noise
test on an aircraft. We have sent a number of customers with Yak and Sukhoi aircraft
to do individual tests at MT propeller, since in order to fly at certain
German airfields they need to have a noise certificate valid for their aircraft.
Interestingly, these Russian aircraft actually have a low noise level, to an extent
because the propeller is geared and therefore turns relatively slowly, but
also, compared to more pedestrian aircraft, they climb more quickly, and therefore
are further away from the noise receivers which are on the extended centreline
of the runway.

Oliver, Harvard,
That is correct indeed. In Holland we have such an exemption in writing from
the authorities for the noise certificate because it's an Annex II aircraft!
Drawback: It means we always need to pay the highest landing fees....... :)
Fly safe!
