Sierra Hotel Landing From: Roger Kemp CAG needs to talk to DCM if that is a regular occurrence around the boat but I'm an AF puke though. That driver would have gotten an ACC Safety Aircrew Distinction award for superior airmanship for sure. Outstanding aviating. You Jarheads can even use the jet again! ;^)) Shit Hot Doc Sent from my iPad > On Jun 23, 2014, at 8:24 AM, keithmckinley wrote: > > > Just another day at the ship! > > Semper Fi!!!! > > -------- > Keith McKinley > 700HS > X26 Sebastian, FL > > > > > Read this topic online here: > > http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=425317#425317 > > > > > > > > > > ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 08:17:14 AM PST US Subject: Re: Yak-List: Yak 52 Gil Shutters From: doug sapp Scott, I have been away for a few days flying low and slow in the back country in Idaho, had a great time at Johnson Creek exercising the cub. Jeff Pritchard, where were you?? Back to business: If you now have a set of CJ shutters all you need is our conversion ring to convert your 285 hp shutters to fit on the M14P, give me a call if this will fit your needs or you have any questions. I can also build you up a set of new shutters or get you the parts to overhaul yours. Contact me off list if I can be of help. Filled it externally to pop off around 5 after landing. Checked it a several days later, it had bled down to about 4.5, not unusual for this plane. Took it out to the ramp, actuated flaps until it decreased to about 3, revved it up and watched pressure build. Went for flight with starting pressure around 3, never got higher than that during flight. Used U/S detector in both cockpits, around fittings, brakes, etc no leak detected. Stumped, any suggestions welcome, thanks. Try that first. I think you'll be quite surprised at how gunked up the snot bottle can get. Dennis A. Just bought this plane so no idea if or when that was done.
