Down here in Lakeland, everyone goes to a good ole boy living out near the swamp. He works wonders with his TiG setup, installed in a lean-to off his single wide. There might not be any swamp nearby in Wisconsin but I'm sure there's a good ole boy with a TiG setup in his garage nearby. You just have to ask around, car guys know who to go to also, seek out some of them. Doug & Katherine, Please forget the panic and mournful call for help yesterday. It was the result of fatigue, memory loss and being rushed. Fatigue from just driving straight to Tulsa from Fla. and back in 3 days. Memory loss - part fatigue and not remembering where I put the engine mount bolts AND they are different sizes (short ones on top and long ones on bottom). And rushed - my brother could only spend a few days with me to help. I am partly squared away at this point, (still trying to get my 2nd medical out of the way). Have no need now of engine mount bolts. Jim "Pappy" Goolsby In a message dated 8/15/2014 1:17:22 P.M. Depending on how old they are they may be worn and binding also. Can they be over tightened? The wobbler should have a smooth slot in it. If the wobblers have been vibrating on the hardware they will have developed a notch in the slot. The gills are most likely hanging up in this notch. Another problem may be that the center ring holes are all wallowed out, this will also cause the gills to bind up. Check book #2 of the IPBs for the dwg/breakdown of the shutter system. I carry all the various shutter parts in stock. Hope this helps. Mine requires a lot of effort to actuate. Before I start taking things apart I was hoping there was an obvious answer. It's not the cable, I disconnected it at the actuating arm, and I had to use channel locks to open and close the ring.
