It's dark blue with a red star on the back and has ANR with an electret mic and 2 straight GA plugs. The helmet is only a year old and is in excellent condition. It can be seen at Courtesy Aircraft.com under inventory. You can contact them or me if interested. Thanks,Dan Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=431084#431084 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 07:58:29 AM PST US Subject: Yak-List: Re: ANR Kits From: "flier" I have ANR and CEP in my helmet and find that reducing the low freq via the ANR is more productive than the CEP. I went CEP first, then added ANR, now I fly mostly with just the ANR and don't fool with using the CEP. I guess as with many things, its subjective and up to the individual. I've had ANR for 10+ years in my helmet. I got it as soon as flightsuits (Gibson & barnes) put it out. I liked it. I put CEP in after I saw someone else with it and discussed it with them. I didn't like the foam plugs, so I got the CEP ends put into molded plastic ends that are custom fit. I flew with CEP for about a year. Stopped using CEP for a while. Now I'm back to using both. I find when flying multiple hours in a day, that the CEP and ANR help a great deal. Your mileage may vary. In a H10-40 it will make an even bigger difference as the cup wall is thicker than the 13.4's. Currently have the David Clark helmet K10 with the headset as a seperate underneath the helmet. However, I am looking into getting a helmet and build this kit into it. Not sure if it will work well, but will try.
