Hi all,
My name is John and last week I bought N6209F, a 1987 Yak-52 (S/N 888306, completed
December of '87). Adjusting to the pneumatic systems (small issues with
starting below 40 Atm, and suspected leak with gear-up leading to slow air pressure
build) so will be pulling and cleaning the start valve/solenoid and troubleshooting
gear controllers and actuators but all in all a very fun machine.
The Yak-List has been a great source of info leading up to the purchase and will
no doubt be helpful as I get to know the Yak better.

Thanks Pumper. Been a Red Star Pilot's Association member for a little over a
year, great organization. Planning to attend the Desert Lightning event in Deer
Valley next month and All Red Star in Porterville in April.

Welcome to a GREAT group of fellow YAK/CJ owners. Having owned my CJ for
over a year now, I have gained a wealth of knowledge from the group and
their eagerness to share and help has been outstanding. Getting to meet,
and fly with these guys at Redstarts events is becoming for me a highlight
of my aviation career. Fly safe, enjoy your airplane and follow the forum.
