Thank God, I was losing sleep over those. What else have you got for sale,
a George Foreman Grill maybe, how about a set of arm floaties, anything
else in your attic you may want to part with, you could always sell your
box of Cheerio's one cheerio at a time until the whole box is sold, and
inform us of each and every sale.
Can't wait!

Hi all,
as you know by now I have sold
my CJ and quit flying.
The most of the parts I am offering
I have bought off the vendors on the
list and now I am selling them at a
fraction of the purchase price.
It is by courtesy that I am giving
the members of the YAK-List first
pick and it costs me quite some
time and effort to go through
the whole process.
cheers

Hi all,
as you know by now I have sold
my CJ and quit flying.
The most of the parts I am offering
I have bought off the vendors on the
list and now I am selling them at a
fraction of the purchase price.
It is by courtesy that I am giving
the members of the YAK-List first
pick and it costs me quite some
time and effort to go through --> http://www.matronics.com/contribution<http://forums.matronics.com/>

Then you might want to look at the Matronics List Server, the owner of which sends
messages out to all list members on a regular basis, and read what the list
is here for. It is not here to be your Home Shopping Network and adherence
to those rules is why people are saying... hey, give it a break!
No one objects to a person sending out a list of things for sale and asking members
to contact him "off list".
BUT........
There is more than one company that reads this list that has many MANY parts for
sale. NONE of them get on this list and take pictures and put them up for sale
very day. Every day. EVERY DAY!
Allowing one member to do this is not showing fairness to all the others. So
regardless of what happens to make each and any of us happy or interested, the
rules of this list server take precedence. This list is a resource, but it is
not for any one of us to promote for our own personal interest. I have pushed
certain rules on this list to the limit myself, and I darn sure have been called
down for it, and properly so. Elmar needs to stop, enough said.
If you disagree, don't tell me. Read the rules and ask for them to be changed
by the person who provides the service that we all are lucky enough to have.
Mark

I like the home shopping network.
If you get too many posts, then stop looking.
This list is a RESOURCE. Parts included.

Subject: | List FAQ vs. Selling On The List... |
Okay, guys, this is getting a little out of hand here...
The Yak-List FAQ can be found here:
http://www.matronics.com/ftp/Archives/Yak-List.FAQ
Of particular significance is this excerpt from the FAQ at the very end:
- Occasional posts by vendors or individuals who are regularly
subscribed to a given List are considered acceptable. Posts by
List members promoting their respective products or items for sale
should be of a friendly, informal nature, and should not resemble
a typical SPAM message. The List isn't about commercialism, but
is about sharing information and knowledge. This applies to
everyone, including those who provide products to the entire
community. Informal presentation and moderation should be the
operatives with respect to advertising on the Lists.
I don't think anyone should be unduly impacted if these guidelines are adhered
to.

Just bumping this in case it got missed in all the message traffic.
Curious if others have had the prop lever move too easily without friction on and
if so, what did you do to keep a prop setting without friction on to aid in
formation flying?
Thanks

My YAK needs the friction just bumped up to where it begins to apply to
keep the prop lever from walking back. I didn't have the problem until I
lubed the cable housing. Probably better than having to replace the cable
housing from lack of lubrication.

Shack! Fabricating a new cable is a pain to say nicely. Finding a roll press to
swag the threaded rods onto 8 mm cable is entertaining also.

The 8 was supposed to be 7 mm. Hit the wrong button doing the one finger iPad key
dance.
