It is not here to be your Home Shopping Network and adherence to those rules is why people are saying... hey, give it a break! No one objects to a person sending out a list of things for sale and asking members to contact him "off list". BUT........ There is more than one company that reads this list that has many MANY parts for sale. NONE of them get on this list and take pictures and put them up for sale very day. Every day. EVERY DAY! Allowing one member to do this is not showing fairness to all the others. So regardless of what happens to make each and any of us happy or interested, the rules of this list server take precedence. This list is a resource, but it is not for any one of us to promote for our own personal interest. I have pushed certain rules on this list to the limit myself, and I darn sure have been called down for it, and properly so. Elmar needs to stop, enough said. If you disagree, don't tell me. Read the rules and ask for them to be changed by the person who provides the service that we all are lucky enough to have. Okay, guys, this is getting a little out of hand here... The Yak-List FAQ can be found here: http://www.matronics.com/ftp/Archives/Yak-List.FAQ Of particular significance is this excerpt from the FAQ at the very end: - Occasional posts by vendors or individuals who are regularly subscribed to a given List are considered acceptable. Posts by List members promoting their respective products or items for sale should be of a friendly, informal nature, and should not resemble a typical SPAM message. The List isn't about commercialism, but is about sharing information and knowledge. This applies to everyone, including those who provide products to the entire community. Informal presentation and moderation should be the operatives with respect to advertising on the Lists. I don't think anyone should be unduly impacted if these guidelines are adhered to. Curious if others have had the prop lever move too easily without friction on and if so, what did you do to keep a prop setting without friction on to aid in formation flying? Davis" My YAK needs the friction just bumped up to where it begins to apply to keep the prop lever from walking back. I didn't have the problem until I lubed the cable housing. Probably better than having to replace the cable housing from lack of lubrication.
